Rule

The logo must never be altered, recolored, distorted, shadowed, or placed on insufficiently contrasting backgrounds.

Common Misuses

Stretching or squishing the logo in any dimension
Recoloring the logo outside approved color variants
Adding drop shadow, glow, or other effects to the logo
Placing the logo on a busy photograph without a clear-space container
Rotating the logo
Using the wordmark alone without the mark (unless approved standalone variant exists)
Recreating the logo in a different typeface or software
Placing the logo on a background that fails minimum contrast
