Color Is Not the Only Signal
Every meaning conveyed by color is also conveyed by a second signal (icon, label, pattern).

Check
Error states use icon + color + text (never color alone). Status indicators use icon or label alongside color. Charts use pattern or shape in addition to color.
Why This Matters
~8% of men have some form of color vision deficiency. Red/green distinctions are the most common failure — a red error indicator invisible to deuteranopia affects millions of users.

How to Verify
View the UI with a colorblindness simulator (Stark, Chrome DevTools vision deficiency mode). Every status or meaning must be interpretable without color.
