Brand Guideline
Image and Photography Style
How imagery reinforces brand personality — subject matter, color treatment, and composition.
Platform: bothTags: photography, imagery, brand, visual-style
The Rule
All brand photography must be consistent in: color temperature (warm or cool, never both), subject matter (people/product/abstract — pick a primary mode), treatment (natural light vs. studio, color vs. black-and-white), and composition (negative space proportion).
Rationale
Inconsistent imagery is the most common cause of visual brand incoherence. A warm photo followed by a cold photo followed by a flat illustration creates a fragmented perception — each touchpoint feels like a different company.
